More than 70 percent of architects say they expect to find a job in the next decade, but just over half say they are planning to start work immediately, according to the latest job outlook survey from the National Association of Realtors.
The survey found that nearly two-thirds of architects and other career-track professionals said they are looking for work within the next six months.
More than two-fifths of respondents who were employed in construction or real estate reported they are currently in a construction or construction related field.
More than a quarter of architects said they were in the process of planning their next move.
Nearly half of those surveyed said they have completed a degree in architectural design or planning.
