Microsoft has hired its chief architect for its cybersecurity chief.
The new hire will oversee the design of the company’s cybersecurity architecture.
The move comes amid concerns about the extent of the breach of a large number of corporate websites.
It also comes just as the United States’ National Security Agency (NSA) has begun publicly disclosing details of a massive hacking of private networks in which it was able to access millions of users’ email and other personal information.
The company has also been hit by a series of data breaches in recent years, with some of its most prominent victims including Microsoft and Twitter.
